Grove’s YB5515-2 industrial crane is the compact unit that packs a big punch. Its small footprint is a big plus as it can manoeuvre into tight spaces to handle those awkward lifts when necessary.
Its standard three-section boom offers up to a 12.5m reach with a max tip height of 14.2m. Want more reach? You can – with an optional four-section boom that takes your reach up to 15.4m, which can even be further enhanced with the optional 4.6m swingaway jib. A total max tip height of 20.4m from the YB5515-2 is entirely possible!
The YB5515-2’s outriggers are two-position (0° and 100°) beam/jack style outriggers with inverted jack cylinders and pivoting pad.
It comes standard with three steering modes: front (two-wheel), four-wheel coordinated, and four-wheel crab steer with electronic self-alignment. Operators can choose between modes via three-position rocker switch located on dash panel. Speaking of the operator’s cab, the YB5515-2’s cabin features a new control layout with hydraulic proportional joystick controls, tilt steering wheel, automotive dash panel gauges and indicator lights.
